It’s hard to put into words just how deeply the Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada has touched our lives. As a family with two incredible children who have faced significant medical challenges, we know firsthand how overwhelming the constant cycle of appointments, therapies, procedures, and uncertainty can be. Some days feel impossibly heavy.

But thanks to the incredible generousity of Starlight’s donors and the dedication of their amazing team, we’ve been given something truly priceless — moments of pure joy.

Because of Starlight, our family has been able to experience things we never thought possible such as cheering together at Raptors and Blue Jays games, exploring Ripley’s Aquarium and Santa’s Village, celebrating at private, fully accessible Halloween events and magical Toys “R” Us Holiday Parties, feeling the rush of racing around the track at Toronto Motorsports Park and enjoying the excitement of Moto Max summer and winter activities, including rides in a hovercraft, ATVs, and pontoon boats.

And most unforgettable of all — Starlight granted us a wish trip of a lifetime to the fully accessible Give Kids the World Village in Florida. From there, we spent magical days at Disney World, SeaWorld, and Universal Studios — making memories we will cherish forever.

These experiences have given us so much more than just fun days out. They’ve brought us hope, laughter, and time together as a family — things that are truly invaluable when facing the daily challenges of raising medically complex children.

Now, we want to pay it forward. We want to help the Starlight Children’s Foundation continue its mission of creating smiles, spreading magic, and giving families like ours precious memories that last a lifetime.
